Terms of service

These draft terms describe the intended rules for using Speedly. They are not approved launch terms until the marked decisions are completed.

Pre-launch draft — placeholders marked below must be resolved before this page is used as a production legal notice.

Operator and acceptance

Speedly is intended to be operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH], at [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH]. These terms are intended to take effect on [EFFECTIVE DATE — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH].

By creating an account or using the production service, a user would agree to the final published terms and the privacy notice. The production app must display the final documents before acceptance is collected.

Eligibility and accounts

  • Users must meet [MINIMUM AGE AND ELIGIBILITY RULE] and be legally able to enter these terms.
  • Account details must be accurate, and credentials must not be shared.
  • A landlord or tenant may only enter, view, or act on tenancy information they are authorized to manage.
  • Suspected unauthorized access should be reported through the support channel.

What Speedly is intended to do

Speedly is intended to help users organize rent due dates, reminders, receipt evidence, review status, and supported payment instructions. A receipt confirmation in Speedly is an action by the relevant user; it is not an independent certification that funds have settled or that a legal obligation has been satisfied.

Users remain responsible for the accuracy of tenancy and payment details, their lease obligations, and resolving disputes with the other tenancy party. Speedly does not provide legal, tax, property-management, or financial advice.

Payments and automatic payment mandates

Any production payment feature must identify the participating bank or licensed payment provider before use. Until that provider is displayed and production onboarding is complete, payment screens and test transactions are sandbox demonstrations only.

  • A recurring debit may be created only after the payer reviews and authorizes the provider's mandate terms, amount or limit, frequency, beneficiary, and start date.
  • Processing times, limits, fees, refunds, reversals, and dispute rights are determined by [PARTICIPATING BANK OR PAYMENT PROVIDER TERMS].
  • Users must review mandate and transaction status. Speedly must not describe a payment as settled solely because an instruction was submitted.
  • Cancelling a Speedly account may not cancel a bank mandate. The user must follow the provider's cancellation process, which must be linked in the production app.

Whether Speedly's final operator receives, holds, or controls funds is a material architecture and regulatory fact that must be documented here after provider and legal review; no claim is made in this draft.

Acceptable use

Users must not:

  • upload false, unlawful, malicious, or rights-infringing content;
  • access another tenancy or account without authorization;
  • attempt to bypass security, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer protected systems;
  • use the service for fraud, money laundering, harassment, or any unlawful purpose; or
  • misrepresent a receipt or payment status.

Availability, suspension, and account closure

Service availability may be affected by maintenance, network failures, banks, and other providers. Notice should be given where practical. The final operator may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, or comply with law, subject to the final notice and appeal process.

Users can review the account deletion workflow. Final provisions for export, retention, termination notice, and survival of terms remain [REQUIRED LEGAL DECISIONS].

Responsibility and disputes

Warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnities, governing law, courts, and any mandatory consumer-rights wording are intentionally not invented in this draft. They require advice appropriate to the operator, users, payment flow, and launch markets:[COUNSEL-APPROVED TERMS REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH].

General support: [SUPPORT EMAIL — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH]. Legal notices: [LEGAL NOTICE ADDRESS — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH].
