Privacy notice

This draft explains the information Speedly expects to use to provide rent tracking, receipt review, reminders, and supported payment setup.

Pre-launch draft — placeholders marked below must be resolved before this page is used as a production legal notice.

Who is responsible for your information

The intended service operator and data user is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH], at [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH]. Privacy questions may be sent to [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH].

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE — SET WHEN THE FINAL NOTICE IS APPROVED].

Information we expect to handle

  • Account details, including name, email address, role, and authentication records.
  • Tenancy and property details entered by a landlord or tenant, such as an address, monthly rent, due date, lease dates, and the other party's contact details.
  • Payment evidence, including uploaded receipt images or documents, amounts, dates, review notes, and confirmation or rejection status.
  • Payment setup and transaction status returned by a participating bank or payment provider. The final integration must document exactly which mandate and transaction identifiers are stored. Speedly should never ask for an online-banking password.
  • Reminder preferences, delivery status, device or push-notification tokens, and communication history.
  • Support messages, deletion requests, security events, and technical logs such as IP address, device type, app version, and timestamps where needed to operate and protect the service.

Optional website analytics

Google Analytics is enabled by default and measures visits, referring websites, campaign sources, approximate location, device information, pages viewed, and interactions such as opening a demo or choosing a pricing option. Analytics cookies help distinguish browsers and repeat visits. These counts do not identify a specific person.

We send named pages and actions, excluding form contents, names, email addresses, account identifiers, property and tenancy records, receipt contents, and authentication tokens. We do not enable advertising personalization, Google Signals, or session recording. Google processes analytics data under its privacy policy.

You can turn off analytics and continue using Speedly. Use the Analytics preferences controls below to change your choice at any time. Saved opt-outs are respected, and your choice is remembered for up to 180 days. Turning off analytics stops future collection in this browser and removes this integration's analytics cookies; it does not erase data already processed by Google.

Why information is used

Information is intended to be used to:

  • create and secure accounts;
  • display tenancy schedules and rent status to authorized parties;
  • upload, review, and preserve payment evidence;
  • start and track a payment mandate when the user expressly requests it;
  • send requested reminders, transactional messages, and service notices;
  • provide support, investigate misuse, and maintain service reliability; and
  • meet legal, accounting, dispute, and regulatory obligations that apply to the final operator.

Service providers and disclosures

The production provider list is not final. Before launch, this section must identify the hosting and database provider, authentication provider, file storage provider, notification and email providers, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and [PARTICIPATING BANK OR PAYMENT PROVIDER], including the purpose of each disclosure and relevant processing locations.

Tenancy information may be visible to the landlord and tenant connected to that tenancy. Payment data may be shared with the selected provider to set up or execute the user's instruction. Information may also be disclosed where the final operator is legally required to do so.

The launch version is intended not to sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising. This statement must be confirmed against the final SDK and processor inventory before publication.

Storage, security, and retention

The service is intended to use access controls, encrypted network connections, and restricted production access. No internet service can promise absolute security; the production security controls and incident contact must be verified before launch.

Account, tenancy, receipt, payment-status, support, and security-log retention periods remain [LEGAL AND OPERATIONAL RETENTION DECISIONS — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH]. The final policy must state specific periods or clear criteria and describe backup expiry. Data should not be kept longer than needed for the stated purpose, except where retention is required for a legal obligation or an active dispute.

Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law and identity verification, users may request access to or correction of their account information. Users may change reminder settings, revoke a payment mandate through the available provider process, and request account deletion. Revoking a mandate and deleting a Speedly account are separate actions.

See the account deletion instructions. Privacy requests may be submitted to [PRIVACY REQUEST EMAIL OR FORM — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH]. The response and deletion timelines must be finalized after legal review.

Children, changes, and contact

The intended service is for adults managing a tenancy and is not designed for children. The minimum permitted age and any age-assurance process require a launch decision.

Material changes should be communicated in the app or by another appropriate channel. Questions can be directed to [PRIVACY CONTACT NAME AND EMAIL — REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH].
